Thank you for your association’s support of FOCA! We’ve received your annual renewal payment and have updated your association's status within FOCA’s MemberPress web login system. Please find below an overview of your FOCA member benefits, including how to login to access members-only materials on the FOCA website.
If you are no longer on your association’s executive, please get in touch with us so we can update our records, and also forward this message to the appropriate person in your association.
MEMBER BENEFITS:
FOCA is the Federation of Ontario Cottagers' Associations, a not-for-profit organization representing volunteer associations and individual property owners all across Ontario. We are your provincial voice.
Each of your member families is considered a member of FOCA, and can access a variety of member benefits including the FOCA member price on event attendance and cottage succession recordings, exclusive access to the CottageFirst group insurance program, and many other discounts and offers. ACCESSING MEMBERS-ONLY MATERIALS ON THE WEBSITE:
Reminder: the old generic FOCA web login, "focamember" is no longer active.
If you already have a personal login, sign into the website here: https://foca.on.ca/account/
If you don’t yet have a personal login, use the instructions below to create one as a Sub-Account of your association. Then, circulate the information below to each of your member families so they can do the same, and so they’ll see the value of your association’s annual membership in FOCA! If you want access to the Association’s MemberPress account page to manage the list of Sub-Accounts, please reach back to FOCA for separate instructions.
HOW TO SET UP A PERSONAL WEB LOGIN:
To set up your login as a Sub-Account of your association, click the link below to open a browser window to a FOCA webpage that says “Welcome, member! You have been invited by your Member Association to create a personal FOCA Account Username and Password…”:
1. Click: https://foca.on.ca/register/member-association/?ca=bf4138dfdcbc7f4c58dd25e2697f921d
2. Scroll down that page to the information fields for you to fill in.
3. Ensure you enter something in each line that has an asterisk (required fields). If you don’t have information for that field (e.g., no postal code because you’re on an island), just enter generic information in a similar format (like, Z1Z 1Z1) so the system will allow you to continue.
4. Click the green “Sign Up” button at the bottom.
The link above is unique to your association and should only be shared with current members.
